Representing Rainbows at the Buffalo Small Press Book Fair

Last weekend, Sarah and I sold our bookish wares (including our Glamourkin pendants) at the Buffalo Small Press Book Fair, a huge and incredibly inspiring event where book artists and writers come together to talk about and share their wordy creations.

The incredible venue.

This was the gorgeous view from our table.

We decided to be very obvious about the sorts of books we write by using a pride flag as our tablecloth.

On the second day, in an effort to encourage more people to pause at our table, Sarah came up with this clever sign. We got a lot of appreciative laughs and spoke with a lot of thoughtful, intelligent people.

It was such a fulfilling experience to be surrounded by so many writers and poets and book artists. There were colors and words everywhere; creativity was crackling in the air.

  1. I love the sign! 😛 So true! Your characters give such wonderful strong female role models!

It sounds like a great event, I hope you sold a lot of books!
